02 / Review the water and the installation space.
A preliminary phone or photo review can help without automatically requiring an in-home sales appointment. Some projects still need a site visit, measurements, or testing before a final recommendation. Private-well projects begin with appropriate test results.
- Photos of the main shutoff, incoming line, and proposed equipment location, where safely accessible.
- Space and access for the tank, brine tank if applicable, bypass, and future maintenance.
- Drain route and working electrical supply where required by the selected equipment.
- Under-sink space, faucet opening, and any countertop drilling or refrigerator connection.
- Existing equipment labels and any water-test report with its date and sampling details.
03 / Approve the complete written proposal.
Review the exact system models, treatment goals, installation provider, labor scope, tax treatment, site preparation, and any approved extras. Compare filter replacements, salt use where applicable, optional service, and written warranty coverage.
The plumbing provider must confirm installation requirements. Electrical preparation or other site work must be completed by the appropriate provider before an appointment is finalized.
04 / Confirm availability, install, and hand over.
A confirmed schedule depends on the equipment being available and the site being ready. Review any deposit, cancellation, and rescheduling terms in the written agreement. A quote request alone does not reserve inventory or an appointment.
At completion, review commissioning records, the bypass and shutoffs, model and serial numbers, care instructions, and the contact responsible for service. Ask about DIY maintenance and any optional help.
West Georgia Water Filtration’s role is consultation, equipment selection, and project coordination. The written agreement identifies who contracts for and performs the plumbing work. Submitting a quote request does not create an installation contract.
